The Citizens Research Council of Michigan is a privately funded, nonpartisan nonprofit that provides independent, fact-based research and analysis on state and local government issues to help inform public policy decisions in Michigan.
Project Overview
We helped redesigned and replatformed the Citizens Research Council website, moving the site from a Gutenberg-based WordPress build into a more flexible Elementor Pro experience. The project focused on improving content organization, modernizing the visual presentation, and making research, events, webinars, podcasts, and publications easier for users to discover.
The build included a new navigation structure, expanded search functionality, dynamic homepage content feeds, interactive featured content areas, and responsive refinements across desktop, tablet, and mobile. We also handled staging-to-live migration support, post-launch fixes, and cleanup related to legacy theme/plugin issues.
