Patriot Bank is a regional financial institution providing a full range of banking services, including personal banking, commercial lending, and treasury solutions. With multiple departments, branches, and internal workflows, the organization relies on secure, efficient systems to support daily operations and employee collaboration.
Project Overview
We designed and developed a fully custom intranet platform to support Patriot Bank’s internal operations, focusing on usability, scalability, and process automation. Built on a customized Drupal architecture with extensive custom PHP development, the platform serves as a centralized hub for employee communication, document management, and task-driven workflows.
The system includes a robust content management experience with role-based permissions, allowing departments to manage and publish content while maintaining strict access control. Key features include dynamic navigation structures, employee and document search tools, and centralized content modules such as news, alerts, and internal resources.
A major component of the project was the development of a custom HR task management system, replacing legacy tools with a streamlined, web-based workflow. This system supports onboarding, employee transitions, and offboarding through configurable task assignments, automated notifications, and real-time progress tracking.
Additional functionality includes automated data imports for employee directories and file indexing, advanced search capabilities across multiple content types, and detailed reporting dashboards for administrative users. The platform was built to handle complex internal processes while remaining flexible for future expansion and ongoing operational needs.
